Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to atlasadagency.com, the Atlas Client Portal, Sisyphus, Atlas dashboards, research and reporting tools, service-request systems, and other Atlas online services that link to this Policy. It does not replace a separate written client or data-processing agreement where that agreement expressly governs a particular processing activity.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Atlas, we may collect account and identity information; business and workspace information; research inputs; website and competitor URLs; keywords; audience descriptions; campaign-planning information; uploaded materials; generated reports; service requests; approval decisions; communications; billing and transaction-status records; and security, authentication, audit, and technical information.
Technical information may include IP address, browser and device details, session and authentication events, timestamps, application errors, request activity, and anti-abuse or App Check signals needed to operate and secure the Services.
Public research and Sisyphus inputs
Sisyphus and Atlas research processes may analyze information you provide and information lawfully available from public sources, including public websites, page titles, metadata, headings, visible content, search results, business listings, competitor information, and public advertising or marketing materials.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, full payment-card credentials, passwords, private keys, authentication tokens, protected health information, or other unnecessary regulated or highly sensitive information to Sisyphus or ordinary service-request forms.

Analytics, cookies, and similar technologies
Atlas may use cookies, browser storage, authentication tokens, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics to operate the Services, maintain sessions, measure site and product usage, understand conversions, remember state, detect abuse, and improve service reliability. Atlas analytics events are designed not to include names, email addresses, tenant identifiers, passwords, or other direct credentials.
Atlas does not currently use private Client Portal data for third-party cross-site behavioral advertising. If that practice materially changes, Atlas will update this Policy and provide any legally required notice, consent, or opt-out controls.
Artificial intelligence and Sisyphus
Sisyphus may use automated systems and commercial artificial-intelligence services to assist with research, classification, summarization, analysis, forecasting, recommendations, and report preparation. Current functionality may use Anthropic's Claude API together with deterministic software, public research, client-provided information, and approved third-party data sources.
Information reasonably necessary to perform a requested analysis may be transmitted to the applicable provider under its contractual and data-processing terms. Atlas seeks to minimize unnecessary personal or confidential information sent to AI providers and does not intentionally submit client passwords, API keys, or authentication secrets as ordinary model inputs.
Service providers and disclosures
Atlas may disclose information to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the Services. Providers may include Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, storage, serverless functions, and research processing; Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for product and site measurement; Anthropic for AI-assisted functionality; approved search-data providers; email and SMTP providers; scheduling services such as Cal.com; payment processors such as Stripe when enabled; and security or infrastructure providers.
Atlas may also disclose information to authorized Atlas personnel and professional advisers; when required by valid law or legal process; to investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents; to protect Atlas, clients, users, or third parties; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of relevant assets.
No sale of client data for advertising
Atlas does not currently sell personal information collected through the Client Portal or Sisyphus to data brokers or third parties for their independent advertising purposes, and does not currently use private Client Portal data to target unrelated third-party advertisements across other websites or applications.
Client data and ownership
As between Atlas and a client, the client retains its rights in information it provides, subject to Atlas's rights under applicable service agreements. Atlas may process client information as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, operate Sisyphus, generate deliverables, maintain the workspace, provide support, meet legal obligations, and protect the Services. Processing data through Atlas does not by itself give Atlas unrestricted ownership of that client data.
Retention and deletion
Atlas retains information for periods reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, considering account and client status, contractual requirements, security, accounting and tax obligations, dispute needs, applicable limitation periods, and legal requirements.
Sisyphus temporary run directories and worker data are designed to be removed after publication, cancellation, or failed processing when no longer needed. Published reports, workspace records, audit logs, security records, billing records, and transactional email records may remain longer where reasonably necessary. Authorized owners or managers may be provided tools to permanently delete eligible published reports, although audit, legal-hold, billing, or delivery records may remain.
Protected backup copies may persist temporarily until overwritten or deleted through normal backup rotation.
Security
Atlas uses safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, email verification, tenant-scoped data, role-based permissions, default-deny database and storage rules, protected server-side operations, short-lived report download URLs, publication allowlists, audit events, rate limiting, application-integrity checks, HTTPS, security headers, and secret-management practices.
No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and Atlas cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, Atlas will provide legally required notifications.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of certain personal information, or to object to or opt out of certain processing. Atlas may verify identity and may retain information where reasonably necessary or legally permitted for security, fraud prevention, contracts, taxes, accounting, legal compliance, or claims.
Privacy and data requests may be submitted through Workspace settings where available or by email to privacy@atlasadagency.com.
Children, third-party services, and international processing
Atlas is a business-to-business advertising, marketing, research, and technology service. You must be at least 18 years old to create a client account unless Atlas expressly authorizes otherwise in writing. Atlas does not knowingly seek personal information directly from children under 13.
Third-party sites and integrations operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Atlas is based in the United States, and service providers may process information in other states or countries subject to applicable transfer requirements.
Changes and contact
Atlas may update this Policy as its Services, technologies, providers, or legal obligations change. Material changes may be communicated through the Client Portal, email, or another reasonable notice method when appropriate or required by law.
